That's the brief announcement we make on each show. The guidelines for public access television shows prohibit us from saying anything more on the air. Here on the website, however, is another story. Here, I can tell you how generous Angelo and Alex Lazaridis have been to both of the shows I produce - Page 1 and Full Bloom.

Manchester Grill is on Green Road, just a few miles from the Cox Cable studio where we tape our show. After each taping, we are treated to a delicious meal, delivered right to the studio. We've had golden chicken Parmigiana, lasagna layered with meat and cheese, tender chicken Marsala with mushrooms and wine, plump ravioli, pizzas covered with our favorite toppings, and the crew's favorite: chicken Sorrentino. That's chicken crowned with medallions of eggplant and cheese. Moments after the food arrives, the conference room fills with the aromas of slowly simmered tomato sauce, freshly crushed garlic, chopped parsley, and the finest olive oil. We imagine Chef Alex slicing celery or sauteing onions in big cast iron pans like many of us have at home. We picture him dropping his home-made pasta in a vat of boiling water and knowing precisely the moment that guarantees "al dente." Their food bears the mark of old world quality and care.

Do yourself a favor and go to either restaurant - or take advantage of their extensive take-out menu. Their pizza is the best! Please mention you heard about them on Page 1 and Full Bloom.
